WORLD SUICIDE PREVENTION DAY 2021

English.jpg

Every year about 800 000 people end their lives through suicide and about 20 million more attempt.

World Suicide Prevention Day (WSPD) is on 10 September every year and is a day when we all work together to break barriers around suicide and mental illness and work together to prevent suicide by raising awareness and mourning our lost ones.

This years theme for WSPD is creating hope through action. We all have something that we can do to help prevent suicide in our community, with our friends, and worldwide. No action is too small and every action counts and could give hope to someone who needs it most.
