World Eating Disorders Action Day is this June 2! 

It is a day that is designed by people who are living with eating disorders for people with eating disorders and for everyone else to raise awareness about eating disorders and for change to help people who are living with eating disorders.

This years theme for WEDAD is #Equity4EatingDisorders.

Although it may be difficult to some to describe what an eating disorder is to others if they have it, an eating disorder is a form of mental illness that shows its symptoms in a physical form. 

There is not just one common type of eating disorder that everyone with one has but there are many different forms of eating disorders. These include, but are not limited to, Bulimia Nervosa, Anorexia Nervosa, and Binge Eating Disorder. For more about the types of eating disorders, click here.
