SURVEYS

In order to get a better understanding of the youth mental health crisis in the city two different surveys are being conducted. These surveys will help provide a look into what is being done right, what can be improved and the general average state of the mental health of youth in the city is. There is no need to enter any personal information on either survey (phone number, email, names, etc.). You do not have to be attending the march to fill one out.

All people who take part are encouraged to read the Statement of Research prior to completing a survey.

FAQ

DO I HAVE TO LEAVE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION ON THE SURVEY?

WHAT KIND OF QUESTIONS ARE THEY?

You are not required or encouraged to leave any personal information (phone numbers, email, names, etc.) on the surveys with your answers. The only information that we will have access to will be to the answers that you insert. Please note as well that we do not have access to information such as what device you used when filling out the survey nor any other information such as your IP address or other electronical information that would tell us any information about you.

DO I HAVE TO COMPLETE THE WHOLE SURVEY?

For both the youth survey and the educator survey, most of the questions are 'yes' or 'no' questions that only require one answer. There are a few questions that require point form and/or sentence and some that are multiple choice that only require one answer.

WHERE DO MY ANSWERS GO?

Once you complete the survey, the answers that you have given are collected and gathered together in a chart for us. This makes it easier for us when we are looking at the data and writing the final report. We do not have access to individual responses.

WHERE WILL THE FINDINGS FROM THE SURVEYS BE USED?

You are encouraged to complete the whole survey as it will allow us to have the most accurate information about the state of youth mental health as well as what is working that is being done and what could be improved to help better the situation. Due to these reasons, all questions on the surveys are mandatory.

WILL THE FINDINGS OF THE SURVEYS BE MADE PUBLIC?

The main goal of the surveys is to provide information about youth mental health as well as allow us to see what is being done right to help and where there can be improvements. The information from the surveys in addition to a report being issued with the findings, will be used to help create a proposal that will be presented to elected official for a new mental health plan.

Yes. Once we have closed all of the surveys to the public to fill out a report will be made and then issued with the findings.
